9 WAYS TO REMOVE SCREEN SCRATCHES FROM YOUR MOBILE PHONE


             

No matter how much you take care of your mobile phone, you always get scratches on your mobile screen then whether it is cosmetic grievance or a full-blown wreck of your device. Depending on the severity and placement of the scratch, today I have come with some DYI tips that can help you to repair your mild scratches on your screens. However, if your screen has the worst scratches then typically they would require screen replacement.

Let’s begin with the DYI tips:

TOOTHPASTE

         

Apply some toothpaste on cotton and spread evenly over the scratched screen. Then use some delicate material or fabric to wipe it off. Tada! Your scratch free mobile screen is ready.

BAKING SODA + WATER

       

Take some baking and soda and add hot water to make a paste. Tenderly rub that paste throughout the screen, when the paste dries out clean the screen with delicate cloth.


VEGETABLE OIL

           

Rub few drops of vegetable oil on the scratched range. Make sure you do not pore oil in excess as it will make your screen oily.


VASELINE

                     


If you don’t have access to vegetable oil, you can use petroleum jelly that is Vaseline. It will give the same result.

CAR SCRATCH REMOVAL CREAM

             
                           

There are several car scratch removal creams are available in the market, and your dad or big bro might have bought it for their vehicles. You can try that too. Some of the car scratch removal creams are Turtle Wax and 3 M Scratch.

PENCIL ERASER

                   

Do you know that other than rubbing pencil written notes, with the help of eraser you can erase scratches from mobile screen too? Well, if doesn’t, it is ok. Try out this tip.


SANDPAPER OR DRILL GRINDERS

           

Use fine sandpaper, which is least abrasive. Plus gently press the sandpaper onto your phone while rubbing off the scratch. Warning: While using sandpaper or drill grinders, be careful, as their rough use can increase the number of scratches on your mobile screen.


BABY POWDER + WATER

         

Make a paste by adding water to baby powder and even spread it throughout your mobile screen.


EGG AND POTASSIUM ALUMINIUM SULPHATE

         

Heat the mixture of one egg white and a teaspoon of alum at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Then soak the microfiber cloth in the egg-alum mixture and place it over aluminium foil. Then place it into a 300-degree oven to dry the cloth completely. Then rinse the cloth with cold water for 20 to 30 seconds. Repeat the step thrice.
